WWE Live in the UK April 2010 DVD Review
Tue, 17 Aug 2010 18:39:00 -0400 - Seeing as this is simply the RAW Smackdown ECW and Superstars television broadcasts most of the people reading this review will have already seen them. The same argument can be made for the PPV releases but its virtually unheard of to release a single episode of the weekly televised wrestling show for the DVD market. Of course these are no ordinary shows... these are the Live in the UK broadcasts...

WWE Wrestlemania 26 DVD Review
Sat, 07 Aug 2010 19:28:00 -0400 - In front of over 72000 people the actual 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania was a better show than the previous year\'s effort which is essentially viewed as having only one saving grace HBV v \'Taker I with more than half of the matches being really good the rest being alright... and one easily walking away with title of Worst WrestleMania Match Ever - thank you Comic-Book Guy...

WWE Rumble Road: Untold Stories from Outside the Ring Book Review
Sat, 07 Aug 2010 18:56:00 -0400 - 2005s Are We There Yet Tales from the Never Ending Travels of WWE Superstars was a book that I rather enjoyed. Wrestling is of course famous for the rigorous travel schedule and the Superstars themselves have reputations of being a boisterous bunch so mixing the two elements together guaranteed a hit. What we got was exactly that it wasnt complex long or even a thought provoking read but it was pretty enjoyable. Five years later we have Rumble Road: Untold stories from Outside the Ring can it live up to its predecessor

WWE Elimination Chamber 2010 DVD Review
Wed, 28 Jul 2010 16:25:00 -0400 - Following on from the TLC and Hell in a Cell pay-per-views this was yet another event named after the match that headlines it. The February PPV much like the Royal Rumble an event named after the main match since it began over 20yrs ago has an advantage over the first two events as it\'s been home to the Elimination Chamber matches for the previous two years meaning the event is already associated with them rather successfully...

WWE Royal Rumble 2010 DVD Review
Sun, 25 Jul 2010 07:23:00 -0400 - The Royal Rumble has always been one of the highlights of the wrestling calendar particularly since 1992 when the WWE title became the focal point of the match. In 1992 the winner Ric Flair won the vacated WWF Title in a fantastic match. From 1993 onwards the winner of the Royal Rumble has won himself the chance to challenge for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania...

WWE Hart & Soul: The Hart Family Anthology DVD Review
Thu, 15 Jul 2010 18:30:00 -0400 - Bret Hart is back in the warm bosom of WWE and since everything is hunky-dory we get ourselves a new three-disc look at not only The Hitman but also the entire Hart Family. This is both the DVDs biggest strength and greatest weakness. It\'s a strength because there\'s going to be a wealth of information on those members not called Bret or Owen but a weakness because quite frankly and not to be disrespectful very few are going to be interested in the those members not called Bret or Owen...

WWE: Shawn Michaels - My Journey DVD Review
Mon, 07 Jun 2010 16:08:00 -0400 - Two years ago WWE released a three-disc collection on The Heartbreak Kid and it was very very good. That for a lot of people would make a second three-disc set redundant... but not Shawn Michaels. The sit-down interview with Michael Cole covers a lot of topics and you get the feeling that both men are genuine friends with the way the interact laughing and joking around as they do. The actual wrestling content for the most part is new stuff with some familiar opponents but unfamiliar or forgotten matches...

WWE Live in the UK November 2009 DVD Review
Sun, 16 May 2010 16:08:00 -0400 - Seeing as this is simply the RAW Smackdown ECW and Superstars television broadcasts most of the people reading this review will have already seen them.
